hail to the cabdriver man....

anyways, there are just some things that are meant to happen, and our cab ride home was just one of those... I spent a lovely weekend in Cambridge, only to come home to cloudy/rainy toronto which i was not looking forward to the 40 min walk home... so after about 10 min of walking it suddenly started to pour like there was no tomorrow, and after finally convincing fab we decided to take a cab the rest of the way home... well we got one in about 30 seconds, and got in, he seemed nice enough, so driving down Gerrard we came to a red light. all the sudden, out of nowhere, the guy turns around and pulls out this TAMBOURINE and starts singing Beatles songs!!! so after a few seconds of complete shock, we just starting laughing and humming along with him, i mean, what else could you possibly do??? so this made him turn the radio up even louder, and making random facts about greyhound dogs?... sitting in a cab singing Beatles with our chinese cab driver in the absolute pouring rain and lightning storm... greatest ride ever...

thank you hooters loving/Beatles singing/tambourine playing cab driver lol....

Wow... now only 1 week left... stress or what? haha, actually I don't think I'm in too bad shape... only a little bit of animation to fix and render a few animations... HAHA, oh well, I'll have it done. I'm feeling a lot better about the work though, understanding how to use splines, and saving a TON of time/energy with it, speaking of which I should get back to good ol' Maya now

oh yah, turns out my poor kitty has diabetes, and now I have to give her insulin shots everyday, well its better then putting her to sleep :) poor coconut

CocoPuff

I took my Cocopuff to the vet today, they took her blood and am waiting to hear back, she could either have diabetes or kidney failure.... I'm hoping its not serious and we can treat her with medication, but I guess I'll see tomorrow. Poor Coco... she's usually evil and hyperactive, but all she's been doing lately is sleeping. I just want my fluff to be ok...

hmm, I'm getting happy from this weather, even though it's pretty yucky out right now.. at least its not SNOW, and I don't have to wear 2 sweaters in my apartment... wow, I can't believe its already April! whaaat? basically been crazy busy with wrapping up my demo reel, hopefully I can get something that I'm happy with, I know I didn't get as much work as I wanted to originally, but I've been in there practically every day! ew...

Yep... well, heres a litho I did last year, originally I had a completely different design in mind, but at some point it went wrong, (I think my first etch wasn't as strong as it was supposed to be) so I had to improvise with some scratching... oh well, sometimes accidents can be a good thing I suppose.
